¿Podrían los jóvenes decidir la elección de 2018?

Los jóvenes entre 18 y 30 años han sido, por décadas, el grupo más grande entre las personas con derecho a votar. No obstante, en la actualidad esto ya no es así.

En las elecciones de 2014 hubo, claramente, dos generaciones que concentraron el mayor número de electores. La primera fue la de los votantes menores de 30 años y la segunda fue la de las personas con edades entre 40 y 55 años. Estas dos generaciones podrían, por su tamaño, decidir quién ganará la elección presidencial de 2018. A pesar de ello, uno de esos grupos podría ser más decisivo que el otro pues las personas de 40 y 55 años votan más que los menores de 30 años.
